About Pride Club

Our goal as a club is to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and judgement-free zone for members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies. The acronym LGBTQ+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning and more! Anyone is welcome, not just members of the LGBTQ+ community. Here, we hope to take action against ignorance by focusing on its source, encouraging curiosity and providing a place for questions and understanding. We ask that this club and its members prioritize and celebrate respect, kindness, and support. 

In our meetings, we do fun, optional activities such as arts and crafts, outings around the Tahoe area, discussing matters relevant to the LGBTQ+ community, and even simply talk about our day. If you’re at all curious and/or want to advocate, check it out! 

For the 2021-2022 school year, Pride Club meets Wednesdays at lunch in the Wellness Center.
